Dear Dr. Znamenskiy,
As editor-in-chief of Chemical Physics Reviews (CPR)—one of a few journals focusing on building a knowledge base for the chemical physics/physical chemistry research community—I am reaching out to encourage you to propose a review article that introduces your research field to a broader audience and stimulates new thinking in the field. I hope this may also work as an opportunity for early-career researchers to serve the research community via developing insightful review papers under the guidance of top experts.
CPR is a relatively new journal featuring research articles and authoritative reviews covering new and emerging areas of interest to the chemical physics/physical chemistry community since 2020. CPR is a sister journal of Applied Physics Reviews (APR), which is highly regarded in the broad applied physics community. The journal's focus includes experimental and theoretical research of fundamental issues in chemical physics and its applications in other branches of science, medicine, and engineering.
Review articles published in the journal provide in-depth coverage of new and emerging areas of interest to researchers interested in the physical sciences. We welcome proposals for either an authoritative and comprehensive review of an established area, or a short, timely review covering an emerging area or recent advance in an established field of applied physics.
If you are willing to contribute a review paper for publication in CPR, please download and fill out our editorial summary form and submit the filled out form via our submission system. If our editors find that the review paper you propose would fit the journal well, we will reach out to you for further steps.
For more information about the journal, please visit CPR online or contact us at the editorial office email address if you don't find your answer there.
On behalf of the entire editorial team, we look forward to receiving your proposal soon!
