Learn more about Dr. Lin's interests and recently published articles | | Meet Our New Associate Editor, Xiao Lin | Applied Physics Reviews has long been a beacon of excellence in the field of applied physics and consistently publishes groundbreaking research that drives innovation and pushes the boundaries of our understanding. As a researcher working in free-electron radiation nanophotonics, I am motivated to bring a focus on light-matter interactions into the journal. | - Dr. Xiao Lin, Zhejiang University, China | | | | | | Dr. Xiao Lin is a professor at Zhejiang University since 2020. Dr. Lin completed his Ph.D. at Zhejiang University in 2016, visited MIT as a joint Ph.D. student in 2015-2016 and was a postdoc in Nanyang Technological University during 2017-2020. He is the recipient of the first prize of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award in 2021 and the first prize of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering (COSE) Natural Science Award in 2024. Dr. Lin's research is focused on the realm of free-electron radiation nanophotonics, which aims to explore the exotic interactions between advanced nanophotonic structures and free electrons and their potential applications. He has published over sixty papers as the first or corresponding author. Particularly, his paper about Superlight Inverse Doppler Effect has been selected as the editors' favorite paper in the area of optics, from all papers published between 2005-2020 in Nature Physics [see "15 years of Nature Physics", Nature Physics 16, 999 (2020)].
We are honored to welcome Dr. Lin as Associate Editor of Applied Physics Reviews. We invite you to browse his selected publications and learn more about him and the esteemed editorial board. | | | |
