Learn more about the role View in Browser SUBMIT AN ARTICLE MANAGE MY ALERTS ABOUT THE JOURNAL Physics of Plasmas Seeking the Next Editor-in-Chief for Physics of Plasmas This year we say a very fond farewell to Michael Mauel who has led Physics of Plasmas as editor-in-chief since 2016. We are currently seeking the next leader for the journal among the plasma physics community.   Candidates should be highly regarded scientists with research expertise in key areas of plasma physics. The successful candidate will have a clear scientific vision for the journal, demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for the role, and showcase strong leadership and interpersonal skills.   There are no geographic limitations to the editor-in-chief's location. The initial appointment is for five years with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will be paid an honorarium commensurate with the roles and responsibilities of the position.
