Dear Dr. Znamenskiy,
As Editors of Biophysics Reviews we are reaching out to encourage you to submit a Gallery-type article (called " Visuals "). These articles are a new format designed to capture the essence of biophysical research through compelling imagery and brief reports. We created "visuals" because we strongly believe that art and science have more in common than typically appreciated.
Visuals should be 1 to 2 pages and refer to original, high-quality single images capturing insightful observations in biophysical studies. The purpose of the image should be illustrative of research development and inspiring new research activities. Strong conclusions based on the limited evidence in the image should be avoided.
These types of submissions should have the following structure:
- Title
- Abstract
- Figure and figure captions
- Methods section
- References (optional)
Whether you are an artist with a passion for science or a scientist with an artistic flair, we invite you to contribute, by submitting your "visual" to Biophysics Reviews. Selected visuals will be included in a unique inaugural Special Issue. The best article will be selected by the Biophysics Reviews editorial team and will receive prominent display on the journal webpage and related social media accounts!
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity to make your research images impactful?
Submit your "visuals" today!
Sincerely,
